We've been working on it between other projects, and we're finally ready to show it
off -- www.modern8.com. The site is substantial, but organized into three simple
sections: about us, portfolio and contact. Of course, websites are never really done.
More portfolio items are coming very soon and additional features are in the works.

We designed and programmed the modern8 website entirely with on-staff
employees. Randall Smith designed the basic look and feel including the
modern8 brand and identity. Justin Milo implemented the design and
programmed the entire site in Flash. The home page photos are by Randall and
portfolio photos by Michael Schoenfeld.

The portfolio section is the heart of the website. Organized by project type as
well as by industry, the portfolio shows photos of completed projects, many with
multiple views. Clients can view proposals and project documentation through a
password-protected section under "Client Access". The "About Us" section has
staff biographies, client list and news.

We have chosen to use the latest in website technology. Macromedia Flash
is the browser plug-in that allows motion designers the most creative freedom.
Macromedia touts 98.3% of the online audience has the Flash Player plug-in, but if
you don't have it, or don't have the latest version, it's a free download. The
launch page of our website, www.modern8.com, will identify if you have Flash 5.
Give us some feedback. What do you like about the website? What could we do
better? What should we add? Let us know -- email us at contact@modern8.com
In case you missed out on the last eNews, modern8 is the new name for some old
faces. Randall Smith (a very old face) of Smith Sligting Partners, is the
Creative Director, together with a team of employees that go back many years.
modern8 is the modern name for a company that has a lot of experience, but
doesn't want to call attention to names. We're graphic designers that work in
both traditional and new media to solve communication and marketing problems.
